IDEALS Membership Information - INDIVIDUALS
Individual Membership BenefitsAll individuals interested in joining the Society are invited to so do. Individual membership entails the following benefits:
- Both active and passive voting rights in the Society
- Access to both the public and membership sections of the Society's web page
- Access to the on-line bulletin, as well as copies of all other reports or documents produced by the Society
- A discounted rate for attending all conferences organized or co-sponsored by the Society
Annual Membership Dues
Membership dues are collected annually
- Individual members: Euro €50.00, US$70 or CAN$70
- Individual members who are students can request a 50% reduction of the annual dues. Verifiable documentation of student status must be submitted (e.g., copy of current student ID with contact address of the school, or a current letter of endorsement from an academic supervisor).
- Individual members are kindly requested to pay 2 years of dues at once, thus saving considerably on exchange rates and banking charges. If payment of 2 years of dues at once causes financial hardship, please contact the Treasurer(at
) for a waiver of this requirement. Members are most welcome to pay dues for more than 2 years at once.
Membership List
The privacy of all address and other personal information about the members is protected. A list of the mailing and e-mail addresses of all members (who have agreed to be so listed) is available to the members of the Society for the purposes of networking among Society members only.
