The book examines the practice of dentistry. specifically the development of the profession in reference to applicable laws. In reference to Belgium law, the privileges, rights and duties of the dentist are discussed. When necessary, European law is covered as well. Although all relevant legal subdisciplines are discussed, including insurance law and the issue of expert testimony in criminal cases, a large part of the book is devoted to the issue of civil liability and dental malpractice.
