Financial Review Committee (FRC)
The FRC shall review the financial accounts of the Society bi-annually and report its findings to the General Assembly. The FRC shall also provide the Treasurer with financial advice, whether solicited or unsolicited.
Functions:- Solicit all financial information from the Treasurer and any other persons or institutions necessary to complete the required financial review, no later than 4 weeks prior to the upcoming General Assembly meeting.
- Obtain additional clarificatory information from the Treasurer should such be needed.
- Review all accounts and prepare a report, to be presented during the General Assembly meeting.
- Provide the Treasurer with financial advise whenever so requested by the Treasurer, specifically in the case of large expenditures or possible conflicts of interest
The Committee shall consist of at least two members of IDEALS who are not also members of the Board and who are elected by the General Assembly for a term of two years.

In order to advance the effectiveness of the Society, a number of permanent committees have been established. Members interested in joining one or more of these committees are encouraged to contact the Secretary of the Society, or the Chair of the respective Committee(s).
