Board
The Society has two organs, the General Assembly consisting of all individual and institutional members, and the Board, elected from among the individual members.
The Board has a minimum of five officers:
- President
- President-Elect
- Secretary
- Assistant Secretary
- Treasurer
In order to facilitate decision making, the Society strives to maintain an odd number of members on the Board, preferably 11, maximally 15. The Society seeks a Board that represents the disciplines of oral health care, law and ethics fairly. In order to protect the international character of the Society, no country shall have more than three members on the Board at any given time.
